The aluminum blade actually bit into the hard-packed dirt when I set up my tent stakes, which I wasn't expecting from something this light. Collapsed down small enough to strap to the outside of my daypack, and the telescoping shaft locks up solid.

Tossed this in my pack for a weekend hike and barely noticed the weight. It collapses down small enough to fit in a side pocket, and the aluminum blade cut through rooty dirt when I needed to level a tent spot.

The aluminum blade feels solid even when digging through packed gravel, and the telescoping shaft locks tight enough that there’s no wobble mid-stroke. Collapses down small enough that I forget it’s in my daypack until I need it.
