The waterproof membrane really works—my daughter's hands stayed perfectly dry even after she lost her gloves in the snow for a solid ten minutes. She can actually buckle her own bindings now without taking them off, which says a lot about the dexterity.

My son's fingers used to get cold after ten minutes on the lift, but these gloves kept him warm for a full afternoon of runs. The wrist cinch is a simple touch that actually keeps the snow out, and the black color hides the inevitable dirt perfectly.

The waterproof-breathable fabric held up through a full day of sledding and snowball fights, and the cuffs cinched tight enough that no snow crept inside. My only wish is that the velcro wrist strap were a touch easier for small fingers to undo themselves.
