Twelve feet is plenty of length to loop around a kayak and still have room to crank down snug. The buckles slide easily through the webbing and lock tight without any slippage on the highway.

The tightening mechanism grips securely without slipping, so I don’t worry about my gear shifting during long drives. It took me under a minute to get both straps snug on the first try.

The full 12-foot length is perfect for securing my kayak to the roof rack without any awkward stretching. The tightening mechanism holds firm even after a two-hour highway drive, and the straps store neatly in the car when I'm done.
